This motel was full of delightful surprises. What a hidden gem! On approach, the motel looked like any other old motel. However, that impression quickly disappeared. We were greeted by the most friendly staff. He welcomed us as if we were family. Check in was quick and effortless. Our room? We opened the door and were instantly transported to luxury and excellence. Ok. Maybe not as luxurious as a high price hotel. But, you get the drift. The room was larger than most high end hotels we have ever experienced. It was well appointed with modern upgrades. The entire unit was faultlessly clean. The bathroom was huge with a shower that adjusted from light spray to massaging spray. Everything in the unit worked well, including the refrigerator and microwave. The work desk was ingenious. It rolled anywhere you wanted to work. I sat on the edge of the bed with the workstation. Talk about comfort! This motel had it. The breakfast is a simple continental type; but has enough fuel to get you going in the morning. Oh. . . there is even a coffee maker in the room. Need to charge multiple devices? The room has plenty of room for that too. The value far exceeds the expectation of what you get. Bottom line. . . If you are in Sheridan, this is the place to call home during your visit.

I only had breakfast one of the three mornings I was there. There was toast, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. It was adequate for a free breakfast. The room was small, but had upgraded floors and good blackout curtains. There was a smart TV to watch Netflix on. The bathroom sink had a small drip and the shower had some sort of issue where it began to make a squealing sound at random (while not in use) and all sorts of adjusting of the knobs was needed to make it stop. I notified the front desk, but it was a strange issue. The room had a fridge and microwave, and I like the convenience of parking right in front of the room.

There was a problem getting to Seridan from Yellowstone. There were horrible fires in the nearby mountains. We got 53 miles from the hotel when the sheriff turned us back and made us go through Billings Montana to get back to Sheridan. I called the hotel clerk, he was so kind and made sure to leave our room keys where I could find them. We finally got there just after 1:30 am. The room was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. We didn't check out the breakfast as we were too exhausted to make it in time. It was also such a great value. Wonderful people in Sheridan.

Nothing to say other than this place looks like a normal motel, nothing fancy BUT it was the best 2 nights I have had at any expensive national chain hotel! I would stay here again over and over again vs staying at any other place or national chain hotel. I highly recommend! Breakfast rated just less than excelled only due to it only had bread slices (no bagels), cereal, waffles, and no other juice other than orange (no apple). But it was good, nevertheless.

Everything was adequate and reasonably clean. By the time we stayed here, we were on the road almost 3 weeks. I did not make any notes (good or bad) about this property and cannot recall it clearly. I thought this was one property that did NOT have breakfast despite being advertised as such, but because I did not make a note about it, I may be confusing it with another property. I'd encourage people to check with hotel re: breakfast.
